Can the billion dollar WTS corporations be bought or sold?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inwe finally see that things are not going too well for the wts these days.
they just settled sex abuse cases in their congregations, layed off members from the bethel, the awake is now monthly, and the watchtower will have 2 versions.we also see that donations are down, the selling of some new york real estate properties, and that the internet is a big thorn on their sides and not going away.. if things get worse, can the wts start selling their corporations?
if they can sell off their real estate, why couldn't they sell their book publishing divisions?

Pride and Shame- An Interesting Perspective
by nvrgnbk inpride and shame: seeing that your behavior arises on its own - out of your particular biologically given traits and your particular career through life, not from a non-material controlling self - might pry you loose from excessive pride and shame.
your successes resulted from personal characteristics given to you in their entirety by nature and nurture, combined with circumstances in which you could express your talents.
likewise, your failures arose not from some weakness of will that could have been otherwise, but out of conditions which can be understood as the natural unfolding of physical and psychological processes.
